Three ways to put your data to work

One data set – three channels. You maintain OFML, everything else follows automatically.

Web shop

Configurable articles right inside your shop. Your customer picks the variant, gets the price and hands the basket over via OCI 5.0.

Website

Embedded as an iframe: 3D products on your existing website, with no development work of your own. One line of code is enough.

Software & ERP

An interface to your OFML data: article texts, prices, images and 3D graphics inside the system you already run.

What the WebKatalog does

Real-time 3D in the browser

Rotate, zoom, configure – smoothly via WebGL, with no plug-in and no installation.

Configuration to OFML®

Properties, variants and prices always checked against valid data – no impossible combinations.

OCI 5.0 handover

Pass the basket with all commercial data to your shop or procurement system.

Downloads & export

CAD data, renderings, PDF data sheets and 3D models at the push of a button.

AR & mobile

Place articles in the real room via QR code – right on your customer's phone.

Multilingual

German, English, Polish and Czech – catalogue and article texts in your customer's language.

Five examples from the running demo

The series .leptos, .karlo and .intra plus media technology – with the kind support of Spiegels GmbH & Co. KG.

Whole set-ups, not just single articles

A complete conference set-up including seating – as one configurable article. Your customer rotates it, checks dimensions and finish, and sees every change immediately.

  • Seating can be switched on and off
  • Veneer and surface finish live on the model
  • Example configurations to start from

The right control for every property

The two widths sit side by side as a toggle, the chrome feet as a switch, the veneer as a colour chip showing the real material. And the “changed only” filter shows at a click what differs from the standard version – handy on articles with thirty properties.

  • Toggles, switches and colour chips instead of plain drop-down lists
  • A counter above the list: how many properties have been changed
  • Impossible combinations stay locked

Every product group in one system

Swivel chair, sofa, desk, media wall, conference set-up – all of it runs through the same catalogue and the same interface. Your customer learns it once.

  • Leather, fabric and lacquer rendered realistically
  • Seating, tables, cabinets, media technology

Everything to take away

Every configuration can be taken along – as a CAD model for planning, as a PDF data sheet for the records, or as an AR view for the phone.

  • CAD models and the 3D scene
  • PDF data sheet for the configuration
  • AR view and tape measure

The whole catalogue – or just your series

Categories, series and articles with preview images, built from your OFML data. You decide whether your customer sees the entire catalogue or starts right inside one series.

  • Structure taken straight from your OFML data
  • A preview image on every entry
  • Can be narrowed to a single series by URL

How your data gets onto the web

  1. 1

    Supply OFML® data

Provide the data set you already have. Nothing needs to be created from scratch.

  2. 2

    Set up the WebKatalog

We take care of the customising: catalogue structure, 3D graphics and the look in your own colours.

  3. 3

    Go live

As a link, as an iframe, or through the interface into your own system.

Integration

Embedded in five minutes

We host and run the WebKatalog for you. You link to it – or embed it as an iframe in the middle of the website you already have.

  • No framework, no build step – one <iframe> tag
  • Basket handover to your shop via OCI 5.0
  • A dedicated interface for ERP and planning tools

Two pricing models

So that getting started is simple and quick – and grows with you when you need more.

You can start with a manageable scope and extend later. What the WebKatalog costs depends on the size of your data set and the integration you need – which is why we name the terms in person, matched to your case.

  • Two models to choose from
  • Getting started without a big project
  • Extendable as your catalogue grows

Frequently asked questions

What manufacturers, dealers and software vendors ask us most often.

What is OFML?

OFML (Office Furniture Modelling Language) is the data standard of the office furniture industry. It describes an article with all its variants, configuration rules, prices and 3D geometry. The WebKatalog reads exactly that data – which is why nothing has to be maintained twice.

Do I need my own OFML data?

Yes, the WebKatalog builds on an OFML data set. If you do not have one yet, or yours is out of date, we create it for you – that is one of our services.

Does my customer have to install anything?

No. The WebKatalog runs via WebGL in any current browser, including phones and tablets. No plug-in, no download, no sign-up.

How do I embed the WebKatalog in my web shop?

The simplest way is an iframe: one tag with a handful of URL parameters, no JavaScript on your side. If your shop is to keep its own price, basket and design, there is a second level: the same iframe plus bidirectional postMessage. The WebKatalog then only supplies the 3D view and the article data, while your shop keeps calculating and selling. Both levels can be followed in the demo shop, including a live log of every single call.

How does the basket reach my ERP or procurement system?

Via OCI 5.0 – the standard SAP and the common procurement platforms speak. Your customer configures in the WebKatalog, clicks Transfer and gets article number, variant code, short text and price handed back into the basket of their procurement system. For ERP and planning systems without OCI we build on the REST API: articles, properties, prices, images and CAD models are each available individually.

Do I have to maintain articles and images twice?

No. The WebKatalog reads your OFML data set – short and long texts, variants, rules and prices all come from there unchanged. Article images are generated for the configuration at hand instead of being stored. That removes the need for a second data set inside the shop.

Which languages does the WebKatalog support?

The interface is available in German, English, Polish and Czech. Article texts appear in whichever languages your OFML data set contains.

What does the WebKatalog cost?

There are two pricing models, so the entry point can stay small. What it costs in your case depends on the size of your data set and the integration you need – we settle that in the free first consultation. Trying the demo is free anyway and needs no registration.

Let's talk about your catalogue.

The first consultation is free: half an hour in which we look at your data set and tell you what is possible.
